Large food and wine storage

The food and wine industry sometimes needs to store large volumes of product, requiring tanks that are not convenient (or possible) to transport (generally over 100-150 m3).

Cavalzani tanks for large storage of food and wine products may be made with varied materials upon customer request. If carbon steel is used, internal surface treatment (sandblasting, cold galvanizing, food epoxy resin) will be necessary to make the tank suitable for foods, and external treatment will be necessary to make it more resistant to weather.

Plus, depending upon the customer’s needs, systems to allow accessory processes (thermal treatments, fermentation, cutting, mixing) may be installed.
